Grayscale Black Friday (2020)
These custom-designed, hand painted jackets were a collaboration project with the Philadelphia-based rock group, Grayscale. Each unit holds a theme that represents Grayscale (The Keystone Jacket, The Original Jacket, The Painkiller Weather Jacket, The Spring Garden Jacket, and The Young Jacket).
The design.
Five different designs spanned across five denim jackets. All designs started as digital mock-ups and, upon approval, were sketched and painted on each jacket with a self-formulated fabric paint. All jackets started as a standard dark blue denim jacket and were hand bleached and distressed to create five one-of-a-kind garments.
The drop.
Five jackets were released during the Grayscale Black Friday drop of 2020. All five jackets sold out during the 30-minute presale, before the website went live to the general public.
